| This workshop will include a range of monoprinting techniques, proper use of oil-based and water-based inks, images developed from second pulls, printing from Xerox copies and solar plates. Participants will explore ways to expand the use of the medium of monotype and transform images into original books. Working in CCP’s computer lab, participants will be able to adjust and alter their images if desired and have a chance to explore integration of these digital possibilities. Advanced participants will be able to work on directed independent projects. Be ready to experiment. No experience necessary. Beginner to Advanced Lisa Mackie is a master printer who heads a print workshop under her name. She has been visiting professor at NYU, Cooper Union, RIT, and Rutgers University. Her work is in numerous collections, including the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Yale University Art Gallery, and the Hunterdon Museum of Art, New Jersey.
