| 7-week workshop Saturdays January 23 – March 13, 2010 (no class February 13) 10am-2pm $325 plus $35 studio fee; limited to 8 Participants will learn a variety of low toxic photo-etching techniques such as Pure-Etch and Solarplate. Mr. Kirk will show examples of the various techniques and participants will have the opportunity to create prints using one or more of the demonstrated techniques. Participants will also learn registration and how to create a print with multiple plates. The workshop will introduce water-based inks. Beginner to Intermediate Anthony Kirk, formerly head of the etching department at Tyler Graphics for 12 years, is currently the Artistic Director and Master Printer at CCP. He has collaborated with numerous major American artists and has taught at Manhattan Graphics, Parsons School of Design, Pratt Graphics, and other regional printmaking centers.
