Are you curious about prints and printmaking? Spend one or more Saturday afternoons at the CCP print shop. This exciting series offers participants the unique opportunity to learn about printmaking techniques and terms and to explore low-tech "hands on" ways to make prints. Non-toxic and water based techniques are used. All materials are provided. Dress for mess.
Roxanne Faber Savage is an interdisciplinary artist, with printmaking as her primary art form. She is a seasoned educator and master Teaching Artist on the Connecticut Commission on Art and tourism Teaching Artist Roster. Roxanne is an award winning artist, receiving recognition for her innovative and original prints on paper, plastic, silk and metal. She has extensive education in printmaking and drawing, studying internationally in Italy and the U.S. Her works are featured in solo invitational exhibits, and are held in private and corporate collections. She earned her BFA from Pratt Institute and her M.S. Ed from Queens College.
