The photopolymer printing plate is a light-sensitized matrix that accepts a images including drawings and paintings on acetate, photocopies, computer printouts, and photographs on transparent film. Artists can also paint directly on the plate.

This 4-day intensive workshop combines two of the most exciting and safe contemporary printmaking techniques: silk aquatint and monotypes, using water-based inks to create a series of prints and related works on paper.
