Artist-in-Residence Program

The Artist-in-Residence Program at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CCP) offers emerging and established artists an opportunity to pursue their printmaking projects by providing time, privacy, equipment, and a creative environment. The residency provides uninterrupted time to produce a body of work and a supportive atmosphere for creative growth and development in traditional and innovative printmaking techniques.

A printmaking residency is an ideal opportunity for experimentation and collaboration. Artists can expand their work practices, explore new mediums, create an edition or otherwise advance their printmaking skills. Participants may work independently or with one of CCP’s printers (for an additional fee). It is hoped that the residency opportunity will stimulate original and inventive work that artists might not otherwise attempt.

Fellowships

There are no Artist-in-Residence printmaking fellowships offered at this time.

Self-funded Residencies

Experienced printmaking artists may apply for residencies of one week or more by submitting an application and paying the appropriate fees. Residencies are subject to approval by CCP and on availability of the Printmaking Cottage. Residencies may take place at any time of the year, subject to cottage availability.
